Officer Rogers, without any fire training, kicked down the door of the burning home to reach the trapped individuals. Bodycam footage captured the intense flames and smoke as he swiftly carried a 4-year-old girl, Marlowe Blaylock, to safety, while her mother and brother followed.
Additional video from the doorbell system depicted Officer Rogers rushing in and out of the burning building, ensuring the safe rescue of all occupants. The Chattanooga Police Department commended his bravery, emphasizing that although police officers are not trained in firefighting, they are dedicated to serving and protecting the community. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
