“Barn Fire in Ilford Engulfs Structure, Three Horses Rescued Safely”

A barn fire in Ilford prompted the response of eight fire engines and approximately 60 firefighters on Sunday evening. The blaze, located on Painters Road, engaged the efforts of the London Fire Brigade. The barn, completely engulfed in flames, saw the safe evacuation of three horses without any injuries reported. Firefighters utilized a 32-meter turntable ladder as a water tower to combat the fire from above.
