“Judge Judy’s Son Takes the Bench in New TV Courtroom Series”

A fresh face is entering the realm of TV judging, with big shoes to fill. CBS Media Ventures recently unveiled a preview for “Adam’s Law,” a new daytime courtroom series featuring Adam Levy, the son of the renowned Judge Judy. Fans of Judge Judy’s trademark sharpness and no-nonsense approach will likely find solace in Levy’s quick-witted and assertive demeanor showcased in the trailer.

Interestingly, Judge Judy initially had reservations about passing on the judicial torch to her son, admitting in the preview that she wasn’t ready to relinquish her role in the past. She humorously remarked that she believes Levy has the talent to surpass her, a notion she finds slightly unsettling.

Scheduled to debut on September 14, “Adam’s Law” is produced by Judge Judy herself. This launch marks five years after the conclusion of the original “Judge Judy” series, which enjoyed a successful 25-season run on CBS. The show garnered immense popularity, attracting an average of 10 million viewers per episode.

Viewers can anticipate the same level of excitement and commitment to justice in “Adam’s Law” as they experienced with Judge Judy. Levy, with over 25 years of legal expertise, including serving as a district attorney and teaching trial advocacy, emphasizes the importance of honesty on his show.

Confident in her son’s abilities, Judge Judy predicts that “Adam’s Law” will dominate daytime television, drawing on Levy’s engaging personality and legal acumen. With previous experience in courtroom reality TV, including shows like “Tribunal Justice” and “Justice on Trial,” Levy is poised to continue the family legacy in the legal entertainment sphere.

“Adam’s Law” will air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S., such as CBS LA and WCBS-TV, as well as in Canada on Citytv and Citytv+ starting September 14.
