A tragic bus accident has resulted in the deaths of at least three individuals and injuries to 31 others on a major highway in Turkey.
Reports indicate that the passenger bus lost control, crashed into a roadside barrier, and overturned, causing chaos among the passengers.
Emergency services and police swiftly responded to the scene, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
The cause of the accident, which occurred in the Bandırma district on the Bandırma-Çanakkale road near Külefli neighborhood, is still under investigation by authorities.
Rescuers, including police, firefighters, and paramedics, worked tirelessly to extricate injured passengers from the overturned bus.
The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the morgue at Bandirma Training and Research Hospital, while the highway, initially closed after the accident, has now been reopened following the clearing of debris and the removal of the bus wreckage.
