Kiersten Dyke, a popular TikTok influencer known for sharing her journey battling skin cancer, sadly passed away at the age of 25 on April 26.
Her longtime boyfriend, Dominic Cinfio, confirmed her passing through emotional posts on Instagram and TikTok, revealing that she was surrounded by loved ones and at peace in her final moments.
Dyke’s fight against cancer began in December 2022 when she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma after a mole biopsy. Following surgery to remove the growth, her condition worsened to stage 2B, requiring additional procedures to address lymph nodes. The intensive treatment and her pre-existing health issues made her recovery challenging throughout 2023.
Despite a period of remission in early 2024, Dyke’s cancer returned at stage 3 metastatic melanoma towards the end of the year. She underwent various treatments, including immunotherapy and radiation, but by June 2025, the cancer had advanced to stage 4, spreading to her bones and organs.
Facing a terminal prognosis in April 2025, Dyke expressed hope for more time and the possibility of extending her life through chemotherapy. Unfortunately, she became critically ill on April 20, leading to hospitalization and eventual complications.
Doctors discovered she had developed sepsis, a severe infection, which quickly deteriorated her condition. Despite a brief moment of consciousness to recognize her family, Dyke’s health rapidly declined, and she passed away shortly after.
In the days leading up to her death, Dyke had explored clinical trial options with her doctors, showing optimism and determination in her battle against the disease. Her loved ones shared that she was eager to participate in the trials and hopeful for potential breakthroughs in her treatment.
