Former employees of Jeffrey Epstein’s secluded “baby-making” ranch are being questioned about visits by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor as part of an expanding criminal investigation. Over a dozen former staff members from Zorro Ranch, including housekeepers, ranch workers, and long-time managers, are being interviewed by investigators from the state’s Department of Justice. They are being asked about the individuals who stayed at the extensive New Mexico property and what activities they witnessed.
The former Duke’s visits are a focal point of the inquiry, with authorities seeking a comprehensive understanding of the events at Zorro Ranch. Led by Raúl Torrez, the Attorney General of New Mexico, the investigation is delving into a wide range of Epstein’s guests, including Prince Andrew, promising to pursue all leads.
Former staff members and Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, who passed away last year, allege that Andrew, 66, frequented Zorro Ranch. It is claimed that he developed a close relationship with a prominent neurosurgeon during his visits, who is also being sought for questioning.
Zorro Ranch, spanning 10,000 acres near Santa Fe, has long been veiled in secrecy, away from public view and seldom photographed. Former employees are being contacted to provide detailed recollections of their time at the ranch, with inquiries extending to daily operations, notable guests, and unusual occurrences.
Investigators are cautioning those questioned not to dispose of any materials related to their tenure at the ranch, indicating a belief that crucial evidence may still exist despite Epstein’s death in 2019. A specialized law firm has been enlisted to support the ongoing criminal probe, working closely with the Department of Justice of New Mexico.
While attention has predominantly focused on Epstein’s properties in New York, Palm Beach, and the Caribbean, Zorro Ranch remains central to abuse allegations. Various staff members, including those managing the estate and its grounds, are being approached for information, reflecting the broad scope of the investigation.
The inquiry encompasses guest lists, movements at the property, and access permissions within the estate, with links to concerning reports about Epstein’s intentions for the site. Officials are also investigating the connections of individuals like Brit Clare Iveagh to the ranch, emphasizing that those questioned are considered witnesses rather than suspects.
Epstein’s extensive network of contacts in business, politics, and royalty, hosted at properties like Zorro Ranch, is under scrutiny. Prince Andrew has consistently denied any misconduct, citing no recollection of meeting Giuffre or engaging in sexual abuse allegations against him.
