Police are searching for a man with tattoos following a sexual assault on a child. Forensic teams and investigators were present in Brislington, Bristol after the incident occurred around 10:30 am on Tuesday. A cordoned-off area near West Town Lane is being guarded by law enforcement.
Avon and Somerset Police are examining CCTV footage to identify the suspect, as reported by Bristol Live. The alleged perpetrator is described as a man in his early 20s of mixed heritage, with braided hair and a tattoo on his left forearm. He was reportedly wearing a white hoodie, black jacket, jogging bottoms, and black trainers.
The victim, a girl of secondary school age, is receiving support from specialized detectives. Neighbourhood Sergeant Chris Downham assured that a thorough investigation is ongoing, with extra patrols in the area. The victim’s well-being is a top priority, and ongoing support is being provided to her and her family.
