Apple has introduced AppleCare One in the UK, extending its service to customers with multiple Apple devices. This subscription plan, previously available in the US, offers protection for up to three eligible devices including iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches for £16.99 per month.
AppleCare One provides coverage for accidental damage, loss, or theft, with the option for Apple to repair the device or offer up to three replacements per year based on the claim type. This new service enhances the existing AppleCare+ benefits, such as unlimited accidental damage repairs and priority Apple support, by allowing customers to safeguard multiple products under one subscription.
By opting for AppleCare One, customers could save up to £11.48 per month compared to purchasing separate AppleCare+ plans for individual devices like iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. Notably, devices up to four years old in good condition can be added to the plan, offering greater flexibility beyond the standard 60-day window for AppleCare+ purchase after device acquisition.
AppleCare One also simplifies device upgrades, automatically adjusting the coverage when a device is traded in for a new one from Apple. Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, emphasized the convenience and flexibility of AppleCare One, stating that customers can now enjoy trusted protection for all their eligible products under a single plan with ease.
The introduction of AppleCare One in the UK reflects Apple’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while offering a more straightforward and adaptable protection plan for Apple device users.
