These events are popular among both serious collectors and casual shoppers, boasting a diverse selection of goods from reputable dealers. Some markets even offer additional attractions like food trucks to enhance the overall experience.

Here are eight must-visit antique fairs and markets to consider adding to your summer itinerary.

Aberfoyle Antique Market

The Aberfoyle Antique Market, touted as the largest in Canada, is situated south of Guelph, Ontario, and operates every Sunday until October 25. With over 100 vendors offering collectibles, furniture, and folk art, visitors can also attend special Saturday shows with more than 150 vendors, including the upcoming one on September 19.

Old Strathcona Antique Mall Parking Lot Sale

The Old Strathcona Antique Mall in Edmonton hosts outdoor sales in its parking lot several times during the summer. Visitors can explore vintage treasures outdoors and inside the mall, which houses over 120 vendors. The upcoming sales are scheduled for July 12, August 3, and September 7.

Saugeen Shores Antique & Collectible Show

The Saugeen Shores Antique & Collectible Show, a 48-year-old event, will take place on July 18 and 19 at the Southampton Coliseum in Southampton, Ontario. Over 80 vendors will offer vintage clothing, jewelry, furniture, and various collectibles, including Pyrex tableware, retro toys, and rare trading cards.

Vintage Pasture Sale

The sixth annual Vintage Pasture Sale will feature more than 40 vendors selling vintage and antique items at Locality Brewing in Langley, British Columbia, on July 18. Inspired by French brocantes, this event will also include food trucks, farm stands, and a beer garden for attendees.

Sussex Flea Market

The Sussex Flea Market will be held at Princess Louise Park in Sussex, New Brunswick, from August 14 to 16. Organized by the New Brunswick Antique Auto Club, this outdoor market is anticipated to host over 800 vendors selling a wide range of items, from household goods to rare collectibles.

Fraser Valley Antiques & Collectibles Club Vintage Collectibles & Antiques Show

The Fraser Valley Antiques & Collectibles Club is hosting its annual summer show on August 28 and 29 at Queen’s Park Arena in New Westminster, British Columbia. Visitors can explore more than 200 booths offering vintage clothing, sports memorabilia, and small furniture.

Odessa Antique Show

The Odessa Antique Show, featuring vendors from Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada, will take place on August 8 and 9 at the Odessa Fairgrounds near Kingston, Ontario. Attendees can browse through furniture, toys, glassware, antique china, and more. Additionally, visitors are encouraged to explore the surrounding antique shops in the Kingston area.

Cookstown Antique & Vintage Show

The Cookstown Antique & Vintage Market organizes two outdoor events annually, with the next one scheduled for September 12 at the Georgian Bay Steam Show Grounds in Cookstown, Ontario. The event will feature over 100 vendors, and a list of participating vendors will be available on the show’s website closer to the event date.
