A British tourist tragically passed away in Mallorca, sparking a police investigation after being discovered with glass fragments in his head. The 26-year-old was found lifeless at a holiday home in Santa Margalida in the island’s northern region at approximately 7:30 am. Authorities have interviewed four men and two women who were present at the residence. The deceased individual has been identified as a British national.
Law enforcement officials suspect the incident leading to his death may have resulted from a fatal accident involving impact with a glass door, although a conclusive determination is pending further investigation. No arrests have been made, and the identities of the other individuals at the property have not been disclosed. An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted in Palma, the capital of Mallorca, under the supervision of the Civil Guard.
Santa Margalida, located in the northern part of Majorca, is known for its historical significance and agricultural heritage, situated close to attractions like the Bay of Alcudia and approximately 30 miles away from Palma Airport.
In a separate incident, a missing British man was discovered deceased on a Costa del Sol beach. The 25-year-old had gone missing after entering the sea at Misericordia Beach in Malaga and was found on Huelin Beach. Authorities have confirmed the deceased individual’s nationality but have not released details on the cause of death pending autopsy results. The police have ruled out any suspicion of foul play in this case.
