Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in the channel lineup starting April 30. The Cinema channel lineup is undergoing a revamp as Sky merges Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to consolidate all family-friendly films into one convenient location.
Despite the merger, viewers will not lose access to any content. Popular movies like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will still be available on Sky Cinema Family. Sky reassures customers that all the content from the now-defunct Sky Cinema Animation will be accessible on the new channel.
For those missing Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make temporary comebacks during school holidays from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This ensures that children will have entertainment options when they are out of school.
Overall, although there will be one less channel, Sky customers can look forward to a more streamlined movie viewing experience with all family-friendly content consolidated into Sky Cinema Family.
