Despite escalating fuel prices due to conflicts in the Middle East, experts reassure that flights are operating as scheduled.
Reports indicate that some airlines are making preparations for potential refueling stops on long-haul flights in case of worsening shortages. Lufthansa, a German airline, has already initiated contingency plans after one of its flights needed to divert for refueling during a recent trip to South Africa.
In response to rising fuel costs, the airline has trimmed thousands of flights from its summer schedule. Nevertheless, industry insiders urge UK holidaymakers not to panic.
