A woman was reportedly sexually assaulted during daylight hours on Saturday morning in an alleyway on The Tything. The incident occurred between 6am and 8:30am, according to West Mercia Police. The authorities have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of rape, and he is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
The victim is receiving support from specially trained officers, and additional police personnel have been deployed to the area to reassure residents and conduct further inquiries. Detective Inspector Lisa Tibbits assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway and appealed to anyone with relevant information to come forward.
