“Aqua Reveals Top UK Value Theme Parks 2026”

As the weather improves and the school break approaches, many individuals are preparing to visit theme parks in the upcoming weeks. While theme park visits can be costly when factoring in ticket prices, parking fees, and dining expenses, some parks offer better value for money. Aqua, a credit card provider, has identified the UK’s top five value theme parks for 2026, considering factors such as adult ticket prices, cost per rollercoaster ride, and average nearby hotel rates.

Codona’s, a beachfront amusement park in Aberdeen established in the 1970s, provides a range of activities for adults at £24.99, including unlimited rides, pirate golf, and various attractions. With a mix of classic and modern rides, indoor facilities, and go-karting, Codona’s caters to all age groups and weather conditions.

M&Ds, a Scottish theme park commemorating its 30th anniversary, offers all-day wristbands for unlimited rides at £19.95, with free entry for non-rollercoaster enthusiasts. Despite being an older park, M&Ds features thrilling attractions like Miami Rip Tide and Runaway Mine Train, drawing positive reviews for its family-friendly environment.

Fantasy Island in Skegness and Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes tied for third place in the rankings. Fantasy Island provides free park entry and offers online wristband bookings starting at £22.50, showcasing exhilarating rides such as Wild River Rapids and the Odyssey rollercoaster. On the other hand, Gulliver’s Land stands out for its free parking, diverse ride selection, and affordable £26 ticket price, making it ideal for families with young children.

Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park, equipped with 11 rollercoasters and over 35 attractions, offers an average adult ticket price of £25. Visitors can book tickets online in advance to enjoy rides like the new Spinning Racer Family Rollercoaster. Blackpool Pleasure Beach, renowned for its extensive rollercoaster collection, boasts an average adult ticket cost of £32, granting access to 26 rides, including iconic wooden coasters like the Big One and Grand National.

Both parks feature a mix of thrilling and family-friendly rides, catering to a wide audience. Visitors appreciate the diverse entertainment options and immersive experiences offered at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the colorful themed lands at Lightwater Valley, making them popular choices for a day of fun and excitement.
